The Winds of Change

by Luke Sidewalker on January 25, 2010

We woke up this morning to some howling winds which are rocking Castle Sidewalker to the foundations. Our garbage bins have been relocated to the next county overnight, and the fence that guards the perimeter of the Castle grounds is bending at an alarming angle as I type. The only good news is that the eternally leaking roof has so far refused to yield to the lashing rain, or maybe the wind has made the rain horizontal saving us thus far from the oh so hypnotic drip.

I have visions of this vicious wind corralling all the loose change on the local sidewalks and depositing it into one easy to collect pile for a lucky sidewalker. So it is currently about 60 degrees in the middle of January with strong winds, what strange times indeed. We hope to weather the storm with minimal damage. Check back later for the update on the perimeter fence!

So, has the Sidewalker become sedentary?

Posts on the 3rd, 6th, 11th, 12th 15th and then what the 25th… seems to me that the sidewalking for January has been more sideboard than sidewalk.

hmmm…. or has he sidewalked off the Palisades cliff?

It’s been far to cold of late to write that much! No seriously the lack of finds has been a bit demoralizing but as the temperature improves so will the posting frequency.

60s? Wow, unbelievably warm. More like tropical winds. Perhaps you could call it the winds of change?

Well, you can tell I haven’t had my coffee. Yikes, and I can’t even delete my previous dumb comment. Great minds think alike is all I’ll say and leave it at that.
